Nawi Mabo presents his team’s project, Swarm Network for Education and Learning in Papua New Guinea (SNEL PNG) — 2022 IEEE Connecting the Unconnected Challenge, which proposes the use of existing urban infrastructure to extend and introduce WIFI hotspots to rural areas at affordable rates.

Their solution was awarded the 2nd Place Business Models Concept prize.
