What is the IEEE Connecting the Unconnected (CTU) Regional Summit?

The CTU Regional Summit is a two-day event that brings together stakeholders to address digital inclusion challenges in Nigeria and across Africa. It features keynote presentations, technical sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities focused on expanding connectivity to underserved communities.

Who should attend the summit?

The summit is designed for government officials, telecommunications professionals, academic researchers, community network operators, technology innovators, policy makers, investors, students, startups and anyone interested in bridging the digital divide in Nigeria and Africa.

How do I register for the summit?

Registration is available through our website’s registration portal. Early bird rates are available until July 31st, 2025.

How can I present at the summit?

We welcome proposals for presentations, panels, masterclasses and workshops through our Call for Papers process. Please visit the Program section for submission guidelines.

Can international participants attend virtually?

Yes, we will offer virtual participation options for those unable to attend in person.

Do I need a visa to attend?

International participants should check Nigeria’s visa requirements well in advance. We can provide invitation letters for registered attendees.
