The IEEE Connecting the Unconnected (IEEE CTU) Regional Summits are events of the IEEE Future Networks Technical Community (FNTC), a multiple Society community aggregating the wide expertise inherent to the connectivity domain.

These events will provide options for remote registration and viewing for those who cannot travel, our goal is to convene as many in-person participants as possible to encourage networking, inspiration and knowledge sharing in a way that only physical events can. In 2024 the committee started planning regional events to help increase the impact on a local level.

The speaker and attendee list will feature innovators, regulators, multinational companies, standards-setting bodies, and nonprofits dedicated to Internet connectivity and inclusion. Attendees can expect a robust program of keynotes, invited talks, panels, and presentations from winners and mentees of the IEEE Connecting the Unconnected Challenge. Each event is planned specific to the region that is hosting.

We are now seeking proposals from interested institutions and industries for hosting REGIONAL event in 2025 and 2026.

Proposals should be sent to the Co-Chairs of the IEEE CTU Committee, Ashutosh Dutta, [email protected], Sudhir Dixit, [email protected], and copy Craig Polk, [email protected], detailing in the following files
