Luciano Mendes
Luciano Leonel Mendes received the Electrical Engineering and Master in Telecommunications degrees from the National Institute of Telecommunications (Inatel) in 2001 and 2003, respectively. He received the Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2007. He developed his post-doctoral studies at the Vodafone Chair Mobile Communications Systems, hosted by Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, from 2013 to 2015. He is full professor at Inatel, where he acts in undergraduate and graduate courses since 2001. Today he is the technical coordinator of the Radiocommunication Reference Center (CRR) and the Brazil 6G project, both hosted by Inatel. He also represents Inatel at the One 6G Association and he is member of the Global 5G Event. He is a CNPq Researcher Fellow since 2016 and member of the FAPEMIG Project Evaluation Chamber since 2021. His main areas of interest are mobile communication, MIMO systems and Artificial Intelligence applied for digital communications.
