Kamal Hisham Kamaruddin
Business Development Director, TIME dotcom Berhad
Graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom in Bachelor of Computing (Networks & Communications), Kamal Hisham Kamaruddin is currently the Business Development Director (Education & GLC) at TIME dotCom Berhad. He oversees complex and strategic project acquisition including technology selection, design and cost optimization for education and GLC sectors.
Prior to joining TIME dotCom, he was with Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) for close to 15 years as Head of Malaysian Research & Education Network (MYREN) where he co-found MYREN in 2005 as Network Architect before ascending to Lead Consultant position reporting to project custodian at Ministry of Communication and Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia. Kamal has been instrumental in regional capacity development where he was appointed as Governor for Malaysia and Steering Committee Member in an Asia-Europe collaboration project – Trans Eurasia Information Network (TEIN) connecting Research & Education communities in Asia Pacific to Europe.
Kamal continues to promote digital transformation best practices in the area of network design, security and network operation amongst education sector organisations in Malaysia.
