Abdelrahman Fahmy is a visionary social and environmental entrepreneur with over ten years of experience in sustainable business development, innovation, and project management. With a background in mechanical engineering, he is passionate about empowering youth and fostering innovation for renewable energy and climate action. In his role as a Youth Engagement and Entrepreneurship Consultant at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Abdelrahman develops and implements the agency’s youth engagement and entrepreneurship strategy across different regions. His work includes organizing acceleration programs, youth events, capacity building, and policy advocacy to promote renewable energy solutions. He has a strong track record of creating impact through entrepreneurship, human-centered design thinking, and business development. Abdelrahman holds certifications in new venture finance, design thinking, and project planning.
