Enrico Natalizio
Enrico Natalizio (Senior Member IEEE) is the Chief Researcher at the Autonomous Robotics Research Center, Technology Innovation Institute (UAE), and a Full Professor at the LORIA laboratory, Université de Lorraine (France). He earned his master’s degree magna cum laude and his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Calabria (Italy) in 2000 and 2005, respectively. In 2005-2006, he was a visiting researcher at the Broadband Wireless Networking Lab at Georgia Tech in Atlanta (USA). From 2006 to 2010, he served as a research fellow at the Titan Lab, Università della Calabria (Italy). In October 2010, he joined the POPS team at Inria Lille – Nord Europe (France) as a postdoc researcher, and from 2012 to 2018, he was an Associate Professor at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (France) before becoming a Full Professor at Université de Lorraine in September 2018. His research interests focus on UAV communications and networking, robot and sensor communications, with applications in networking technologies for disaster management, infrastructure monitoring, and IoT privacy and security. He is an associate editor of Elsevier Vehicular Communications and Computer Networks and has been ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in Stanford University’s bibliometric study for 2024.
