Edward Oughton

Edward Oughton is currently an Assistant Professor with the College of Science, George Mason University, developing open-source research software to analyze broadband infrastructure deployment strategies. Recent research activities have totaled over $1.2 million from a variety of funders including NSF, IMF, Planet Labs, and the World Bank. He received the Pacific Telecommunication Council Young Scholars Award (2019), the Society of Risk Analysis Best Paper Award (2019), and the TPRC48 Charles Benton Early Career Scholar Award (2021).
